Clayton Simmons Davidson has been involved with different musical projects as a composer, guitarist, arranger and songwriter. His music has been performed around the United States, as well as in Europe. He is currently fascinated by frames, gesture, tightly-integrated forms, polysemy, timbre and transcontextuality.

Mr. Davidson has studied composition with Panayiotis Kokoras, Kirsten Broberg, Andrew May and Michael Rothkopf. He has also had additional instruction with Lawrence Dillon, Kenneth Frazelle and Shane Monds. He holds a B.M. in Music Composition from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Music Composition at the University of North Texas.
