Clayton Simmons Davidson is a composer and guitarist whose current work is engaged with frames, gesture, timbre, tightly-integrated forms, polysemy and transcontextuality.
Mr. Davidson has studied composition with Panayiotis Kokoras, Kirsten Broberg, Andrew May and Michael Rothkopf. He has also had additional instruction with Lawrence Dillon, Kenneth Frazelle and Shane Monds.
He holds a B.M. in Music Composition from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and a M.A. in Music Composition from the University of North Texas.
